So my hubby finally made it to Stateville Farm from Vienna, he was approved for work release Tue. He told me that I can visit him on the weekends and also said someone told him that you can bring food to visits...Im not sure how true this is, Im actually not convinced. I thought it would work the same as the visits in Vienna where you have to put money on a card and buy from the vending machines. Has anyone else visited their LO at Stateville Farm, if so, how was the system for food?

***Also I still have a card for the Vienna Correctional Center vending machines with like $13 on there. I don't think I would be able to get a refund, so if anyone is interested in having it, you're welcomed to it(free of charge of course lbs) just send me a message.
We are one day closer than we were yesterday....this too shall pass!

It would probably depend on where you are driving there from.

If your coming from the city of Chicago you don't have to take I355. You can take I55 and get off on IL 53 and follow that all the way to the prison. No you will not lose GPS. It's a straight shot down 53 to Division street and prison will be on right hand side.
