TVís on beds

A sincere question: Why arenít inmates allowed to set their tvís on their bed, especially the top bunk?  An older person canít get up & down from the top bunk without a lot of pain & difficulty to turn off & on & change channels. So he just doesnít watch his TV. Thatís one of the few things to do there....

My husband is on a top bunk and he has a tv. I asked him how heís able to watch tv (where does he place it) and he said thereís a shelf.

Some facilities don't even allow personal TV's
