Can anyone answer whether all facilities will have photos at visits...including MAX facilities? I know some facilities are doing this now. The option to purchase the photos is on the commissary list for some facilities at 2.50.....

Thanks Father - been doing well. My son is back in school. The photo printer they were using is the one I have at home and I was even willing to purchase the ink cartridge and paper. Its not that expensive.

The only pic my grandson has of his Dad was taken in 2014 and they quit doing photos sometime in 2015 I think. I am hopeful the MP3 players will be available soon.

This is a wonderful thing. I hope they end up doing this at all facilities. There are momma's out there, along with all loved ones that haven't had a picture of their loved one in years!

Dixon started this week. They came out with a 2 page memo with requirements that inmates need to meet in order to be able to take pictures. Itís kinda ridiculous if you ask me.
Anyhow, Iím excited and looking forward to taking pictures with my husband.
If anyone is wondering....pictures are not given at the end of visit. IA has to review and approve them before they can be sent home.

At Taylorville, the pics are given to the visitor immediately if only one pic is taken. If two are taken, then the inmate can have one.

This is important in our family for our grandson.

I'm trying to figure out why IA would need to check them considering you're right there in the prison and COs are watching if not taking the picture. But that's IDOC for you. Hopefully Centralia gets it going soon cause my kids would love a picture with their dad.

Menard Max is doing them.
$0.30 a picture, vouchers has to be purchased at commissary the same month they purchased, there's only certain days pictures are taken , after the pictures are taken then they have to be given to IA in a self-addressed stamped envelope so once they've been approved there mail to the love one. I'm going to Menard next week and we'll have a picture taken with my husband for the first time in 20 years.

Ya!

IRCC is doing photos on Fridays and they are .30 each. They are also having staffing issues but manage to find people to fill in and take the photos. I was glad to get them!
