Does anyone know how Inmate Call Solution phone plans work and are they reliable/good. They have several plans of unlimited calls ranging from $29.95 for 1 month -$94.95 for a year.  Any information would be appreciated. Looks like they support most of the prisons in Illinois. I want to try it but need more info. Thanks

You cannot use any phone service besides the ones provided by Securus.  If your inmate is caught using something else, he can go to SEG and you can totally lose your phone privileges.

Wow that's crazy because they have on their site that the prison he's in along with other Illinois prisons are eligible for the plans. That's a bit fishy that they or we can't use a legal phone service of choice. But thanks for the info

Of course these companies will make you think that, but if you do, then the problems begin.  Stick with Securus so you don't run the risk of getting anyone into trouble, because it's just not worth losing your phone rights for the rest of the time he is in.
