The lawyer said that the judge put it in his paperwork that she recommended bootcamp he took 7years behind that so if he doesnt go will he have to do half that time

IDOC has the final say so if he goes to bootcamp even if the judge commends.  Yes, if he isn't accepted, or starts bootcamp and doesn't finish he would have to do his regular time. If he got 7 years at 50% then he would do 1/2 that time minus any credits he could earn or time spent in county.

He said he hasnt even got to the dorms for bootcamp does that mean its because they are still looking at his file to approve him or not who can i call to ask this question please im panicking his lawyer said its in his file but he is saying the c.o. says it isnt please i need help i dont know what to do

Call Springfield and ask to talk to the bootcamp coordinator and also his counselor.
