Denial of Work Release
« on: June 20, 2013, 08:41:55 PM »
My L/O was recently denied work release  :wc17:
He was told that being denied for that, he probably will be denied for any SSC...Does one have anything to do with the other??
His reason for denial stated he was properly placed.
Thanks  :wc14:

Most guys that are denied work release are told they are properly placed, it's a common response.  Just remember, there are more guys that apply for work release than there are places for them all.

He can try again for work release in six months.  I don't know what his conviction is or why they said he would be denied SSC, that question I can't answer for you.

Was it his counselor that told him that?

Thanks Mah...I told him it probably had alot to do with the overcrowding and many applying.  No, it wasnt his counselor, just other inmates talkin. So now its just a waiting game!  My heart goes out to all the people that are going thru this...just sucks!
Thanks again  :wc1:
