Vine notification
« on: February 25, 2013, 07:33:58 PM »
My lo 's release day is in 10 days (yeah) but I still haven't got the vine notification. I was just wondering if this was because he is in seg or cause he has a warrant or something.

Does his discharge date say "To be Determined?" That is common for someone waiting to see the parole board. But it is possible being in seg, if there was a fight or something, would cause a hold up.

If I remember correctly when a friend of mine was released a couple years ago, I received the call just a day or 2 before he was released.. It's been a long couple of years but that is what I am thinking because I remember thinking that wasn't much notice.

My husband has 2 weeks to go and vine link just called and stated his release date and that it could change at any time. I thought they called a few days before his release, not a few weeks. Will they call again a few days before his release or was that the call?

within the last few years, Vine (normally) call, email or txt. depending on how you are set up, 2 weeks prior saying the inmate, ... will be released  2 weeks prior on such and such date, that it can change and to get info to call.. then the day of release you should get a call, it could be as early as 7:15 am and all the way until the night.
One time i got a call at 9 am, and another was while we were sitting next toeachother at dinner.
Double check your contact info, make sure it is up to date and correct.

Good luck and all the best wishes for you homecomings.
& he said to me "the level you think i love you is way more then you can imagine, we all we got"

Not sure about court dates, but when the inmate is transferred from one prison, to another, they do notify you. They don't notify you however until after the inmate is safely at the new facility.
