To register for Illinois' VINE (Victims Information Notification Everyday) please visit their website.  This a free, publically-funded program for anyone wishing to be contacted regarding the movement of any Illinois inmate.  Once registered you will be contacted by email or telephone message.

At this  link, put in the inmates information and when the next page comes up, click on the little eyeglass to register....           https://www.vinelink.com/vinelink/initSearchForm.do?siteId=14004

VINE is Illinois' Victim Notification Service.  It's available for anyone wanting notification of an inmate's movement.  You will be given a pin # and when they call you enter your pin #.  My calls always display with the word APPRIS on my caller ID.  My research has indicated that this is a government program, NOT funded by victim's families.  Below is a link to an informational file on the use of Vine.  You will note that at the bottom of Page 2, it indicates:

VINE Link

Appriss' VINELink service is a web-based extension of the VINE service, a public access tool providing a quick link to VINE sites across the nation.  With VINELink, victims and other members of the public can registor for notifications or lookup inmate information via the web.  VINELink also provides  the local toll-free number of the site currently being searched.

VINE now has a Mobile App that you can follow inmates movement.

Go to your APP STORE on your Smartphone and look for:

VINE MOBILE -APPRISS, INC.
