QUESTIONS & ANSWERS / Re: IPADS and Tablets??
« Last post by 3tenjen on February 10, 2019, 12:12:47 PM »
Correct pt, there were no tablets at Robinson and the mp3ís weíre supposedly coming.  Different joints have different devices. Not sure if they all work thru gtl. I communicated on gtl messaging w my LO when he was at Robinson thru a main tablet they all used near the phones. But individually they had nothing and his friend who went to Taylorville had an mp3.

I read thru it a couple times nisrge missed that. Thanks for replying! I know we chatted about violation in PM I get so upset thinking about this whole thing and I start crying, sorry Forevermah for asking a repetitive question. My LO is still sitting in Pulaski County jail awaiting being transferred to Menard for IPB. Do you guys think he has a chance of not being violated? He went AWOL on his monitor and ended up picking up a charge for agg fleeing/evading. Police chase... I was in the car it was absolutely nuts. Anyway, he plead to it last Monday. I feel like he may have a chance to be put back on monitor and not be violated but idk....
:-(   Any thoughts?

Do they have different devices at different prisons? I was under the impression that it's all tablets but a friend of mine recently told me that her husband who is at Menard doesn't have a tablet but just an mp3 player, so I'm confused now. At my LO's facility they don't have anything yet so I'm just curious.

Are parole violators eligible for good time?
Hi Jen, I donít think so. My LO who is in for parole violation said he is not eligible and just a couple posts up from here in this thread, the group talked about parole violation eligibility. Forevermah posted a link and post that states those returning on a parole or MSR violation are not eligible to receive this credit.

Does anyone know if parole violators are eligible for good time?

My husband did just that for a software issue. GTL told him to send it in for repairs.

He has to get on the kiosk and use the option to send GTL a message. They then email them back with the process

I signed up for Vine but havenít been getting any notifications, and his release date has changed several times over the past few months. Iíll have to go check on that.

Heís about 10 days short, so unfortunately he never benefited from SSC, despite qualifying....too little, too late for him. But hopefully others will receive theirs and come home to their families sooner rather than later! ❤️❤️❤️
