My boyfriend was approved in mid August for a transfer from East Moline to Jacksonville.  How long does it usually take to get moved after being approved?

Welcome to IPT.

As long as it takes for bed space to open up.  IDOC prisons are very overcrowded right now, so things are/can take longer than normal.  If he is approved and suppose to move, it will happen, just be patient.  Good Luck to him!
