I just happened upon this post and got as chuckle, 3 yes later and those trucks are still parked in Lincoln, I pass them every time I leave the prison and head into town

He called me and told me his transfer you east Moline was approved!!!! Yayyyy. He didnít put himself in for a transfer. His counselor put him in for an institutional transfer which is only one prison so itís up to Springfield basically.

No. They do not have them yet. But they should be available within the next few months. LO said the process is underway
of getting the kiosks installed.

At western the limit is 5 while in seg at a time. Ultimately it depends on the officer passing the mail out.

I would send a few pictures with a letter. I know books are okay when mailed and would think pictures would be as well. As for a limit, I'm not  sure about that but you could call the mail room.

You should be able to call the main line and ask for someone in the commissary department. I was able to do this when my husband was in county. Not sure if it'll be the same for DOC. Would you happen to know though if your LO was searched when he got to NRC or not. My husband is trying to take a few pictures with him may in case mail is super backed up and my letters don't reach him before he ships out. He was told that they didn't search them up until a few weeks ago they started searching.
